1. Narrates in their own words the main point the story/tale;
2. Explain the meaning of reward and punishment;
3. Distinguish between reward and punishment;
4. List consequences of negative behaviour.

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Narrates story/tale on reward and punishment;
Pupil’s Activities – Listen to the teacher’s story/tale.
3. Explains the meaning, purpose and importance of reward;
Pupil’s Activities – List/mention positive behaviour that ought to be rewarded.
4. Explains the meaning, purpose and importance of punishment;
Pupil’s Activities – List/mention behaviour that ought to be punishment.
5. Discusses behaviours that attract rewards or punishment;
6. Discusses types of reward and punishment;
Pupil’s Activities – Identity the moral lessons of the teacher’s story/tale.
CONCLUSION
- To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
