By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils should have attained the following objectives –
1. identify pronouns.
2. use pronouns in making sentences.

The pupils can identify use I, me, you, their, etc. correctly.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
PRONOUN
A pronoun a word used instead of a noun.
It replace a noun.
Pronoun used to represent people or things.
For example –
I
You
He
She
Him
Her
It
We
Us
They
Them
SENTENCES MAKING
Ade is a boy.
- Ade (Noun)
He is a boy.
- He (Pronoun)
Ada goes to school.
- Ada (Noun)
She goes to school.
- She (Pronoun)
Duduke is my son.
- Dukeke (Noun)
He is my son.
- He (Pronoun)
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. Revises the previous lesson based on the pupil’s knowledge.
Pupil’s Activities – Participate actively in the lesson review.
2. Displays charts showing expression of a noun and a pronoun.
3. Lets pupils read the pictures.
4. Uses the charts to explain the meaning of pronouns.
Pupil’s Activities – Listen to the teacher and identify a pronoun.
5. Guides pupils to use nouns and pronouns in sentences;
Pupil’s Activities – Use nouns and pronouns in making sentences.
CONCLUSION
To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
LESSON EVALUATION
Ask pupil to identify pronouns in statements/sentences and construct five sentences using pronouns.
