By the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to mention the result of disobeying rules and regulations.

The pupils can state the consequences of disobedient.

 

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of pictures of children suffering from the consequences of disobedience.

 

METHOD OF TEACHING

Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON  

LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTION 

Obedient is the willingness to obey the rules and regulations of the authority. In the school, the authorities are head teacher, assistant head teacher, teachers and the school prefects.

People in authority have the power or right to give order, make decisions, and enforce obedience. If you disobey the authority, you will be punish.

 

THE RESULTS OF DISOBEYING RULES AND REGULATIONS IN THE SCHOOL

When you disobey the rules and regulations, this is what happened to you,

1. Sent out of class.

2. Denial of privileges such as food, playing with the mates, etc.

3. Extra work around school such as picking up rubbish, or sweeping and general cleaning.

4. Some minutes stand tall.

 

LESSON 2 – CONTINUATION

5. Report to head teacher and your parents.

6. Suspensions

7. Staying afterschool

8. Isolate from whole class

9. Extra homework

10. Loss of position

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Teacher displays chart showing children doing extra work after school, etc.

3. Teacher allows the examine, identify and state the reasons for extra work after school.

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils identify the reasons as punishment for disobedient.

4. Teacher uses the chart and the pupils relevant responses to introduce the lesson and leads a class discussion on the results of disobeying rules and regulations.

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils pay attention to the lesson introduction and participate actively in the class discussion on the results of disobeying rules and regulations.

5. Teacher summarizes the lesson on the board by using the lesson evaluation.

Pupil’s Activities – The pupils pay attention to the summary of the lesson by responding correctly to most of the questions and write as instructed.

 

CONCLUSION

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
