PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES 

By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to:

The story or the woman with the issues of blood, Jairus Daughter, John 3:16, etc.

 

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:

picture of any event – demonstrating the love of Jesus for mankind.

LESSON ONE – INSTANCES JESUS DEMONSTRATED HIS LOVE

Jesus demonstrated his love to mankind by

1. healing the sick.

 

2. delivering the oppressed – Adulterous woman.

Bible Reading – John 8 : 1-11.

 

3. opening the eyes of the blind – Blind Bartimeaus.

Bible Reading Mark 10 : 46.

 

4. healing many diseases – the woman with the issues of blood.

Bible Reading – Mark 5 : 25 – 35.

 

5. raising up the dead – Jairus’ Daughter.

Bible Reading – Mark 5 : 21 – 32, 35 – 42.

 

5. Satisfying our heart desires – Zaccheaus – Bible Reading – Luke 19 : 1 – 6.

We also can show love to another by taking care of them. We can show love by taking care of our sick family and friends, parents and teachers. We should be kind to one another.

 

REVISION AND WEEK 2 LESSON ASSESSMENT

 As stated in performance objectives or lesson evaluation. 

 

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Leads pupils to mention instances of Jesus demonstrating love for mankind.
