CONTENT OF THE LESSON  

LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTION

Posture can be defined as the abnormal position in which someone holds their body when standing or sitting.

For example,

1. kyphosis

2. valgus knee

 

 

3. varus knee

4. lordosis and

5. scoliosis

 

CAUSES OF POSTURAL DEFECTS

1. Poor nutrition

2. Lack of exercise

3. Uneven soled shoes

4. Tight wears

5. Poor sleeping position

6. Disproportionate growth.

 

LESSON 2 – PREVENTIVE MEASURES FOR POSTURAL DEFECTS 

1. Adequate diet

2. Regular exercise

3. Free Wears

4. Get enough rest

5. Good sleep positions

6. Get normal soled shoes.

 

LESSON 3 – SUMMARY 

Teacher’s/Student’s Activities – Writes notes on the board for the students copy the board summary into their notebooks.

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the students some questions; then, the teacher –
