PAUL’S ARRIVAL AT MACEDONIA (Philippi) – ACTS 16: 6 – 15

Bible reading – Acts 16:6 – 15

Philippi was a city founded by Philip, the father of Alexander the Great later it became a Roman colony.

During his second journey, while at Troas, Paul saw a vision of a man of Macedonia. A vision is something strange that a person sees either in real life or in the dream.

A vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing and appealing to him, and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” When he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them. (Acts 16:9-10).

Paul and Silas left Troas the following day. They traveled to Philippi, the capital of Macedonia.
