CONTENT OF THE LESSON  

INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES 

Teacher’s Activities – Shows the children chart showing worker’s immunizations and vaccines for them to identify. Listen and tells them meaning of immunizations.

 

MEANING OF IMMUNIZATIONS 

Immunizations are vaccines give to children to prevent diseases or illness.

Immunizations are given to children at birth to 9 months of age.

Note – Also, read the meaning of Immunizations and ask the children repeat after. 

 

 

IMMUNIZATIONS VACCINES 

1. Measles

2. Polio

3. Vitamins A

4. Yellow fever, etc.

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Shows pupils immunization vaccines and tells them the meaning of Immunizations.

Pupil’s Activities – Say the meaning of Immunizations and mention various immunization vaccines.

 

CONCLUSION

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
