By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils should have attained the following objectives –

1. identify the parts of a human body.

2. describe each part of the human body .

 

ENTRY BEHAVIOUR

The pupils can identify each part of the human body.

 

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of chart showing different parts of the human body with labels.

 

METHOD OF TEACHING

Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Uses chart to describe parts of the human body.

 

3. Brings out a pupil and touch different parts of the body.

4. Asks pupils to touch different parts of their body.

Pupil’s Activities – Mention and touch the parts of the human body as shown by the teacher.

5. Summarizes the lesson on the board.

Pupil’s Activities – Copy as the teacher instructed.

 

CONCLUSION

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
