By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils should have attained the following objectives –
1. Pronounce words correctly.
2. Put stress in correct places, according to the meaning intended.
3. Read sentences with correct pronunciation and Intonation patterns.
4. Read sentences using correct pronunciation, rhythm and intonation.

MAKE SENTENCES ORALLY WITH EACH PAYING ATTENTION TO PRONUNCIATION, STRESS, RHYTHM AND INTONATION.
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. Revises the previous lesson based on the pupil’s knowledge.
Pupil’s Activities – Participate actively in the lesson review.
2. Gives model pronunciation of the phrases.
Pupil’s Activities – Say the sentence following the teacher’s guide.
3. Give model reading of sentences, putting stress in correct places, according to meaning intended.

4. Give examples of intonation patterns.
5. Ensure that the pace and rhythm are correct.

6. Think of interesting sentences which will be relevant to the experience of the pupils.
