TOPIC – IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNITY HEALTH 

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES 

  • Pupils should be able to explain the importance of community effort for health promotion.

WEEK 2

TOPIC – COMMUNITY MOBILIZATION AND WAYS OF SAFE GUARDING THE EFFORTS MADE

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES 

  • Pupils should be able to –
  1. explain the meaning of community mobilization.
  2. enumerate examples of community efforts for health promotion.

CONTENT 

  • Community mobilization and Ways of safe guarding the efforts made.
  • Examples of community efforts for health promotion.
  1. Community mobilization for pipe borne water supply.
  2. Community provision of rural electrification.
  3. Community leaders persuading mothers to take their children for immunisation at the designated centres.

TOPIC – PHYSICAL FITNESS

  2. demonstrate the skills.
  3. practices the skills using the apparatus.
