TOPIC – Passages Based on Conservation with ‘That/Which’ Adjectival Clauses 

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to:

  1. Use correct conversion with ‘That/Which’ adjectival clauses.
  2. Use clauses in their sentences.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:

  3. Passages from other sources

METHOD OF TEACHING – Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

PRESENTATION

  • To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
  1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
  2. Gives sample reading.
  3. Pupil’s Activities – Read the given passage.
  4. Asks questions that will involve the use of ‘That/Which’ adjectives clause.
  5. Pupil’s Activities – Give answers to the questions on the passage provided. Construct sentences using ‘that/which’ adjectival clauses.

CONCLUSION

  • To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
