To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Displays sample of some objects.

 

3. Lets pupils identify each object.

Pupil’s Activities – Identify each of the object displayed.

4. Displays the mixture of one pencil, 2 rulers, 2 books, 4 pens and 5 keys.

5. Lets pupils group the objects in their like term.

6. Ask them to count the number of objects in each group.

3. Asks pupils to read the number of objects aloud.

Pupil’s Activities – Read the number of objects.

4. Guides pupils to colour a certain number of objects.
