INTRODUCTORY QUESTIONS 

Teacher’s Activities – Asks the pupils –

  • Who is farmer?
  • Whole is a fisherman?
  • Who is crop planter?

Listen their points and discuss further with them.

 

 

WHO IS A FARMER? 

A farmers is someone that works on farms.

A farmer plants crops and rears animals.

 

EXAMPLES OF CROPS AND ANIMALS

5. Fruits and vegetables, etc.

MEANING OF AGRICULTURE 

Agriculture is planting of crops and rearing of animals for the benefits of man.

 

 

ASSIGNMENT

1. Find out 5 crops in your community.

2. Find out 5 animals in your community.

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Explains the meaning of agriculture.

Pupil’s Activities – Listen to the teacher’s explanation.

 

CONCLUSION

  • To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
