2. participate active in clas short play.

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:

CONTENT OF THE LESSON

LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES

Teacher’s Activities – Display chart showing letter A – Z for you and the children to recite rhymes on these letters.

Pupil’s Activities – Recite rhymes on A – Z along with the teacher.

Teacher’s remark – One clap for yourself and comment. Write letter A – H on the board with corresponding flash cards or toys letter A – H for the children to identify and name each letter.

Guide the children on

1. How I brush my teeth.

2.  How I dress in the morning.

3. How I care for parts of my body, etc.

MORAL LESSON

Ask the children to state the moral lesson of the play. Participate actively in the children’s discussion.

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Guides children to recites A – Z.

 

 

Pupil’s Activities – Recite A – Z.

3. Guides and leads the children’s to take active part in the short play.

Pupil’s Activities – Participate actively in the short play.

 

CONCLUSION

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
