CONTENT OF THE LESSON
LESSON ONE – INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES
Teacher’s Activities – Play two (2) minutes basketball games for the pupils to identify the types of ball games. If they unable to identify, tell them.
Pupil’s response – Watch the basketball game played by the teacher to identify the game.
Teacher’s remark – This a basketball game. Give a great cheer for response to question and ask them to describe the game. Participate in their discussion and note the points on the board.

DESCRIPTION OF BASKETBALL GAME
Basketball is one of the ball games played with hands by shooting a ball through a raised goal called a basket.
It is a limited contact sport played on a rectangular court.
Three – on – three, two – on – two, and one – on – one competitions are also common basketball games or competitions.

LESSON TWO – PERFORMING BASIC SKILLS OF BASKETBALL GAME
Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Demonstrate and guide the pupils to practice and demonstrate basic in basketball game.
