INTRODUCTION
The environment is everything around us such as land, air, water, plants, and animals. The quality of the environment affects human health and living conditions.
A good and clean environment helps us to stay healthy, while a dirty and polluted environment can make people sick.
In this lesson, we will learn about environmental quality, healthy environment, degraded environment, and how to improve the environment.
LESSON 1 – MEANING OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY
Environmental quality is the condition or state of the environment in relation to how clean, safe, and healthy it is for living things.
HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT
A healthy environment is a clean and safe environment that supports good health and living.
Advantages of a Healthy Environment
