TOPIC – GIVING AN ACCOUNT OF VISITS TO PLACE OF INTEREST LIKE TOURIST ATTRACTIONS, HOSPITALS, COURT OF LAW, ETC.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils should have attained the following objectives –
1. Read story of visits to places of interest.
2. Make simple correct sentences and punctuations while writing.
3. Write about their visits to places of interest.
ENTRY BEHAVIOUR
The pupils can give an account about a place they have visited.

Giving an account of visits to place of Interest paying particular attention to
1. Tourist Attractions
2. State House
3. Hospitals
4. Court of Law
Teacher organizes pupils in groups or pairs depending on the size of the class to,
- Link the Sentences and paragraphs
- Use punctuation marks correctly
- Use appropriate register
- Express personal feelings correctly
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Allows the pupils to give the different account of visits to place of Interest.
Pupil’s Activities – Mention different places of visits to place of Interest visited.
3. Asks leading questions that elicit more detailed narration.
Pupil’s Activities – Write account of their visits.
4. Identifies grammatical errors and correct them.
Pupil’s Activities – Participate in class discussion.
