WHAT IS SAFETY RULES?
Safety rules are rules that keep us free and safe from danger or harm.
EXAMPLES OF SAFETY RULES
Safety is also anything that people do to protect themselves or others from harmful accidents such as,
1. Do not push one another.
2. Do not fight.
3. Do not play with sharp objects like blade, knife, etc.
4. Do not play with fire.
5. Do not play electric or naked wire.
6. Do not talk or answer strangers.
7. Do not take something from strangers.
8. Do not play on the roads.
9. Obey your parent.
10. Obey your teacher.
11. Know your home address and your parent’s phone number.
LESSON PRESENTATION
To deliver this lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. Teacher displays chart showing harmful objects such as fire, blade, etc. for the children to identify and describe the dangers of playing with them.
Children’s Activities – The children identity and describe the dangers of playing with harmful objects.
2. Teacher uses the chart and the children relevant responses to introduce the lesson and explain the concept of safety rules with examples.
Children’s Activities – The children pay attention to the lesson introduction and lesson attentively the teacher’s explanation.
3. Teacher summarizes the lesson by asking the children questions based on the lesson taught and gives the children work to do at home.
