PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to:
- Retrieve saved document.
- Edit and saved a documents.
ENTRY BEHAVIOR
The pupils are required to already have learned features of word processing.
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of functional computer systems.
METHOD OF TEACHING – Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.
Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
RETRIEVE SAVED DOCUMENT
STEP 1 – Search for the Document on Your Computer
1. On Microsoft Windows
2. Click the Start menu.
3. Type in the search bar: Primary 6 or the file name.
4. Windows will show the saved documents.
5. Click the file to open it.
STEP 2 – Open the File from the Folder
1.Open File Explorer.
2. Go to common folders such as: Documents, Downloads or Desktop
3. Look for the Primary 6 document.
4. Double-click the file to open it.
STEP 3 – Edit the Document, Most school documents open with Microsoft Word.
1. Double-click the document.
2. It will open in Microsoft Word.
3. Edit the text (lesson notes, questions, answers, etc.).
4. Click File → Save or press Ctrl + S.
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Guides the pupils on how to retrieve and edit saved documents.
