The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:
1. Building plans, cement, sand, gravel.
2. Documentary on various types of building, charts and posters etc.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTION
Building is a structure with walls and a roof, such as a house, factory, school, church or mosque, shop, etc.
Common building materials are cement, sand, gravel, metal, plastic, wood, glass, leaves, ceramics, grass, etc.
Based on the assignment given in lesson, ask the pupils to state the uses common building materials. Write all responses on the board.
USES OF COMMON BUILDING MATERIALS
1. Cement

6. Wood
7. Glass
8. Leaves
