When writing a descriptive essay, we use words that help the reader imagine what we are describing. Such words are called descriptive words or adjectives.

In this lesson, the pupils will learn how to describe their house and their school.

A house is a building where people live with their families. A school is a place where teaching and learning take place.

When describing a house or a school, we can talk about:
