By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to –
1. explain the meaning of a home.
2. name the different parts of a home.
3. state uses of each part of a home.
4. identify items found in different parts of a home and their uses.
ENTRY BEHAVIOUR
Sitting or living, bedroom, toilets, kitchen, store, etc.
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:
1. A picture of a home.
2. A chart showing items found in a home.
METHOD OF TEACHING – Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.
Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

Home a house or apartment where people lives as a family.
DIFFERENT PARTS OF A HOME AND THEIR USES
1. Bedroom

ITEMS FOUND IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF A HOME AND THEIR USES

PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Display some items found in a home.
Pupil’s Activities – Identify some the household items on display.
3. Ask pupils what they have in their homes.
Pupil’s Activities – Identify and state items in their homes.
4. Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Identify and mention different parts of the home.
5. Draw some household items found in the home.
Pupil’s Activities – Draw one of the household items.
CONCLUSION
- To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
