By the end of the lesson, most pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to –

1. read and identify number 1 – 10.

2. sort and rearrange number 1 – 10.

The pupils can read number 1 – 10.

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:

1. Flashcard number 1 – 10.

### PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Leads children to read numbers 1 – 10 with songs and rhymes.

3. Uses different materials to facilitate identification of numbers 1 – 10.
