PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES 

By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to –

response to teacher’s verbal communication.

 

ENTRY BEHAVIOUR

Clapping, jumping, dancing, etc

 

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:

Video clips

 

 

METHOD OF TEACHING – Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON  

INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES 

Teacher’s Activities – Starts the lesson with a song and expression. For example,

What are you doing?

Teacher’s and Pupil’s Activities –

  • I am clapping.
  • I am walking.
  • I am dancing.

 

 

  • I am jumping.
  • I am running.
  • I am shaking, etc.

 

Teacher’s Activities – This lesson is for a week, repeat these activities in other periods of the lesson with other songs such as baby shark, etc.

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. communicates with children verbally general medium of expression.

Pupil’s Activities – Response to teacher’s verbal communication.

 

CONCLUSION

  • To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
