1. explain the meaning of ascending numbers.

Teacher’s Activities – Flash card numbers from 1 – 20 for the children to read and write as you flash each card number.

Pupil’s Activities – Read and write number 1 – 2.

Teacher’s remark – One clap cheer for yourself. Comment and ask the children to identify each of this number – 5 1 3 2 4 6 10 8 7 9 and rearrange. Then, discuss explain the meaning of ascending order of numbers.

MEANING OF ASCENDING ORDER NUMBERS

Ascending order is the arrangement of numbers or other objects from smallest to largest, lightest to heaviest, thinnest to thickest, etc.

 

 

HOW IT RELATES TO NUMBER ARRANGEMENTS

When it comes to number, ascending order means to arrange numbers from the smallest number to the largest number.
