1. explain the expected attitudes of christians to non christians in society.

2. describe christian attitudes to persecution.

 

 

CONTENTS OF THE LESSON

FOCUS LESSONS 

1. Christian living in the community. Matt 5:13-16; 1Pet 2:9-18.

2. Christian attitude to persecution. Matt 5:11-12; 1Pet 3:13-17.

The teacher,

1. guides students to read the passages.

2. directs a play christian living among non christians.

3. asks questions on persecution of christians.

 

 

STUDENT’S ACTIVITIES

The students,

1. read Bible passages.

2. dramatize a play on christian living among non christians.

3. assess the negative effects of persecution.

4. write a letter to a christian friend in places in Nigeria where christians are constantly persecuted.

1. explain how to encourage christians to remain faithful in times of persecution.

2. list two (2) ways christians are persecution in your area.

3. mention five points of advice from the passages on how christian should live among non christians.

1. list various christian organizations in Nigeria.

2. Discuss inter – denominational activities in our churches today.

3. identify Biblical teachings that foster unity among christians.

4. practice christian assistance to one another in times of need.

  • Forgiveness. Gal 6:1-2.
