PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to make paper decorations for home.
ENTRY BEHAVIOUR
The pupils can decorate their classroom.
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of things within and around us.
Things to bring for display:
1. flower pots/tin
2. seeds, seedlings
3. cuttings.
METHOD OF TEACHING
Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.
Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES
Teacher’s Activities – Take pupils outside to plant some flowers either in pots or on flower beds.
Pupil’s Activities – Plant and water flowers in and outside the classroom.
Teacher’s Remark – Good job you for active participation. Planting flowers is a way of decorating our surroundings. Decorating makes our surroundings beautiful.
Guide pupils to make different paper decorations for their classroom.

PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Takes pupils outside to plant some flowers either in pots or on flower beds.
Pupil’s Activities – Plant and water flowers in and outside the classroom.
3. Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Make different paper decorations.
CONCLUSION
To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
