CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
Dressings is the clothes we wear on our bodies. When choosing clothes to wear, we must wear clean and good clothes.
WHAT IS DRESSING HABITS?
Dressing habits are the way we choose to wear our clothes everyday. People wear clothes everyday, some wear it properly while others wear wrongly.
When we dress properly, it means you have a good dressing habit. But when you dress wrongly, it means you have a bad dressing habit.
FACTS ABOUT GOOD DRESSING HABITS
1. Clothes are clean, pressed and free of wrinkles.
2. Clothes are comfortable and good for work.
3. Clothes never distracting or offense other people.
FACTS ABOUT BAD DRESSING HABITS
1. Clothes are torn and dirty.
2. Clothes reveal too much cleavage, your back, your chest, your stomach or your underwear.
LESSON PRESENTATION
To deliver this lesson, the teacher reviews the previous lesson and adopts the following steps:
1. Teacher revises the previous lessons based on what he/she has taught or what the children has learnt.
2. Teacher displays chart showing children who dress properly and wrongly.
3. Teacher points to the chart and guides the children identify and describe properly and wrongly dressed.
Children’s Activities – The children identify and describe properly and wrongly dressed.
4. Teacher uses the chart and the children’s relevant responses to introduce the lesson and explain the meaning of dressing habits.
Children’s Activities – The children pay attention to the lesson introduction and understanding and appreciate the importance of dressing properly.
5. Teacher summarizes the lesson by asking the children questions based on the lesson taught and gives the children work to do at home.
