By the end of the lesson, the children should to run straight to the finish line.

1. identify a football scorer game.

2. passing ball to one another by kicking.

3. kick a ball inside a goal post.

The children can kick a ball.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON

WHAT IS A FOOTBALL SCORER? 

A football scorer is a player who scores a goal in a football game by kicking the ball in the goal post or net.

 

HOW TO KICK A BALL 

1. Maintain an upright position.

2. Take few steps backward .

3. Pay attention your feet.

4. Focus on the ball.

5. Make moves and kick the ball.

Note – Teacher guides the children on how to kick the balls. 

 

LESSON PRESENTATION

To deliver this lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson based on what he/she has taught and what the children have learnt, then adopts the following steps:

1. Teacher displays balla and chart showing children kicking balls for the children to identify and describe.

Children’s Activities – The children identify and describe the activities in the chart.

2. Teacher listens to the children and asks them if they are ready to play ball.

Children’s Activities – The children participate actively in the outdoor games.

4. Teacher guides the children to kick the ball to one another and how to kick the ball inside the net.

Children’s Activities – The children listen to their teacher, express their feelings and happily kick the ball to one another and kick straight to the net.

5. Teacher seeks the support from his/her colleagues that less busy for good coordination and celebrate the children participation.

6. Teacher summarizes the lesson by asking the children questions based on the lesson taught and gives the children work to do at home.

Children’s Activities – The children participate actively in the summary of the lesson by responding to the questions and do their homework at home.

Teacher asks the children to,
