The pupils can state good things we can do to other.

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of Holy Bible, Pictures of family, CD player, etc.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTION
God’s goodness is who God is and what He does. God’s goodness is His kindness, His mercy, His steadfast love and His generosity. It is everything God created for His own pleasure and gave them to man free of charge.
MEANING OF GOODNESS
Goodness means doing what is good to everybody all the time. God is good to us everyday. He loves us. He shows us His goodness and kindness. He protects us. He provides us. He wants us to do the same to other people.
WHY GOD IS GOOD TO US?
The reason why God is good to us is because he continues to show us,
1. His love
2. His grace
3. His goodness and mercy
4. His generosity, and
5. His favor even when we don’t deserve it.
LESSON 2 – GOOD THINGS WE CAN DO TO OTHER
There are a lot of good things to can do to one another as God is good to us –
1. Smile to everyone.
2. Greet everyone.
3. Forgive anyone that offended you.
4. Show respect to everyone.
5. Be a kind person.
6. Treat people in good way.
7. Offer a helping hand.
8. Give old clothes, shoes and other things you don’t need anymore.
9. Open and hold the door for someone.
10. Offer one another food and drink.
11. Share a meal with a stranger.
12. Say thank you whenever people do something for you.

PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Teacher organizes the pupils in groups depending on the size of the class.
3. Teacher tells the Parable of the Good Samaritan and asks, the pupils to discuss the moral lesson.
Pupil’s Activities – The pupils listen to the parable of the Good Samaritan, analyze and appreciate the important of helping one another.
4. Teacher uses the parable and the pupils relevant responses to introduce the lesson and leads a class discussion on God’s Goodness.
Pupil’s Activities – The pupils pay attention to the lesson introduction and participate actively in the class discussion on, God’s Goodness.
5. Teacher explains the meaning of God’s goodness and state why God is good to us.
6. Teacher asks the pupils to state the good things we can do to one another
Pupil’s Activities – The pupils discuss the good things we can do to one another
7. Teacher leads the pupils to demonstrate how we do good things to one another.
Pupil’s Activities – The pupils show how they can do good things to one another.
8. Teacher summarizes the lesson on the board by using appropriate lesson evaluation.
Pupil’s Activities – The pupils participate actively in the summary of the lessons by responding correctly to most of the questions and write as instructed.
CONCLUSION
To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
