PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to identify the pieces of home furnishings and furniture found in the different functional rooms in the home.

1. Pieces of furnishings and furniture found in the home, e.g. bed, chairs, mat, table, mattress, etc.
2. Relevant pictures to show home furniture.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES
Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Display real objects or pictures/charts of furnishings and furnitures found in the home for the pupils to identify the uses of each furnitures.
Pupil’s Activities – This is chair, table, dining table, etc.
Teacher’s remark – All the items on the chart are the furnitures in the home. Note each furnishing and furniture on the board as identify by the pupils.
