PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to –
demonstrate how to respect people, places, time and things.

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:
1. Teachers, pupils in upper classes, etc.
2. School’s compound
3. Nearest religion places – church, mosque or shrine
4. Wrist Watch and wall clock
5. Available tools and equipments.
METHOD OF TEACHING – Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.
Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES
TEACHER’S/PUPIL’S ACTIVITIES – PRACTICAL DEMONSTRATION ON HOW TO RESPECT
1. People
2. Places
Teacher’s remarks – emphasizes on the Muslims wearing caps in the mosque but don’t wear scandals inside mosque.
Some churches also don’t wear scandals inside church or when they are on their religious wears.
Christians don’t wear caps inside the church but many churches wear scandals inside the church.
Lets the pupils Note that, when you are invited by other religions, you have to respect their things and places of worship.
3. Time
There is time for everything.
Respect all time of duties and responsibilities.
For example, time to be in school and at home.
Time to learn and time to play or eat, etc.
4. Things
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Teacher’s/Pupil’s Activities – Practical demonstration on how to respect people, places, time and things.
CONCLUSION
- To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
