Communication is an important part of our daily life. We speak to share information, express our feelings, and report what we see or hear. One important way of speaking is through verbal reports and statements.

A verbal report is when someone gives information orally about an event, activity, or situation. A statement, on the other hand, is a clear expression of facts, ideas, or opinions spoken aloud.

A verbal report is the act of giving information about something by speaking. For examples:

  • Reporting what happened during an excursion.
  • Telling the class what was learned in a lesson.

MEANING OF STATEMENT

A statement is a sentence that tells something or gives information. For fxamples:

  • I went to the market yesterday.
  • Our teacher taught us English.
