CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
Orderliness means keeping things clean and neat by putting them in their proper places.
ORDERLINESS IN THE SCHOOL
Orderliness in the school is the practice of maintaining proper behavior, cleanliness, discipline, and organization within the school environment. That’s, following rules, respecting teachers and fellow students, keeping the school tidy, and participating in an organized manner.
IMPORTANCE OF ORDERLINESS AT SCHOOL
Orderliness is very important in the schools because,
1. We learn to follow rules and respect authority.
2. It encourages punctuality, obedience, and responsibility.
3. It makes the schools to be quiet, clean, and peaceful.
4. It makes it easier for us concentrate and learn in the school.
5. It reduces distractions and interruptions in the school.
6. It prevents accidents and injuries in the school.
7. It reduces vandalism and waste in the school.
8. It teaches us time management, cleanliness, and teamwork.
9. It attracts more support and opportunities for the school.
EXAMPLES OF ORDERLINESS AT HOME
In the school, you can be orderly by,
1. wearing your school uniform correctly.
2. getting to school on time.
3. arranging chairs and tables correctly.
4. keeping books and learning materials in their proper places.
5. throwing waste/dirt in the dustbin.
6. lining up quietly for assembly or lunch.
7. submitting your assignments on time.
8. keeping classrooms and toilets clean.
9. be a good boys and girls.
10. obey and respect your teacher and others in the school.
LESSON PRESENTATION
To deliver this lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson based on what he/she taught or what the children have learned.
2. Teacher displays chart showing a clean and neat school. Also, displays chart showing a dirty school.
3. Teacher lets the children to examine and identify the difference two (2) charts.
Children’s Activities – The children identify and mention the difference between the two (2) schools.
4. Teacher uses the chart and the children relevant responses to introduce the lesson, explain the meaning and importance of orderliness in the school.
Children’s Activities – The children pay attention to the lesson introduction to understand and appreciate the importance of orderliness in the school.
5. Teacher guides the children to identify and demonstrate some of the examples of orderliness in their school.
Children’s Activities – The children state and demonstrate some of the examples of orderliness in the school.
6. Teacher summarizes the lesson in a very simple sentence, asks the children questions based on the lesson taught and gives the children work to do at home.
Children’s Activities – The children participate actively in the summary of the lesson by responding to the questions and do their homework at home.
