2. demonstrate appropriate posture in standing, sitting, walking, running, lifting, lying and climbing.
3. describe postural defects like kyphosis, valgus knee, varus knee, lordosis and scoliosis.
4. explain the causes of postural defects.

LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTION
Introductory Activities – Ask the students to stand tall and sit tall. Demonstrate how to stand tall and sit tall.
MEANING/DEFINITION OF POSTURE
Posture can be defined as the position in which someone holds their body when standing or sitting. It is also a behave in a way that is intended to impress or mislead.
KINDS OF POSTURE
1. Standing of posture
2. Sitting posture
3. Walking posture
4. Running posture
5. Lifting posture
6. Climbing posture
LESSON 2 – MEANING/DEFINITION OF POSTURAL DEFECTS
Posture can be defined as the abnormal position in which someone holds their body when standing or sitting.
KINDS OF POSTURAL DEFECTS
1. Kyphosis
2. Valgus knee
3. Varus knee
4. Lordosis and
5 Scoliosis
LESSON 3 – SUMMARY
Teacher’s/Student’s Activities – Writes notes on the board for the students copy the board summary into their notebooks.
