By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to –

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of:
Clay/plastercine, wooden boards, spatulas, blunt knives, string, water, moulds.
METHOD OF TEACHING – Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.
Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES
Teacher’s/Pupil’s – Provides modeling materials and asks pupils to mould any objects of their choice.
Teacher’s Question – Asks pupils to state 5 materials needed for moulding.
Teacher’s activities – Listen to the pupil’s response.

1. Plastic bowl
2. Knives
3. Kneading plank
4. Water
5. Apron
6. Sieve
7. Paint brush
8. An amount of clay soil
MEANING OF MOULDING
Pupil’s Activities – What is moulding?
Moulding is the way of making objects in a local form with clay sand.
PRESENTATION
To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:
1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;
2. Asks pupils to explain what moulding is.
