CONTENT OF THE LESSON 

PASSAGE ON AN ACCIDENT

One rainy Monday morning, there was heavy traffic on the road leading to the city. People were rushing to work and school. Suddenly, a speeding car tried to overtake a bus at a sharp bend.

The driver lost control of the vehicle because the road was slippery. The car collided with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. The motorcyclist fell and sustained injuries. Passengers in the car were also shocked and injured.

Some passers-by quickly rushed to the scene to help the victims. They called for an ambulance, and the injured people were taken to the nearest hospital. The police also arrived to control the traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.

The accident caused a long traffic jam, but normal movement was later restored. Everyone learned a lesson about the importance of careful driving, especially during rainy weather.

PASSAGE ON AN EVENT

Last Friday, our school organized its annual inter-house sports competition. Pupils from different houses participated in various sporting activities such as relay race, football, sack race, and long jump. The school field was beautifully decorated with flags and banners.

The event began at 10:00 a.m. with an opening prayer and a march past by the pupils. Parents, teachers, and invited guests were present to watch the activities. Everyone cheered loudly as the pupils competed in different events.

The highlight of the day was the final relay race, which was very exciting. Green House won the overall competition after scoring the highest points. The winners were given medals and trophies by the principal.

At the end of the event, the principal thanked everyone for their participation and encouraged pupils to always take part in sports. The event ended peacefully in the evening.
