READING PASSAGE: CHILDREN’S POEM
My Happy Day
I wake up early with a smile,
Ready to walk that extra mile.
I greet my family one by one,
And thank the Lord for morning sun.
I go to school to learn and play,
And try my best each passing day.
I help my friends and share my things,
And joy and laughter this always brings.
I listen well to what is right,
And stay away from wrong and fight.
I live each day in peace and love,
With blessings from my God above.
