CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
Health is very important in our daily lives. A person who is healthy can eat, work, play, and learn well. When the body is not in good condition, we say the person is sick.
Sickness is a condition that makes the body weak and unable to function properly.
People become sick for many reasons, such as:
- dirty environment.
- eating unhealthy food.
- lack of proper hygiene.
- infections from germs.
When a person is sick, he or she needs treatment. Treatment can be given in the hospital by doctors and nurses using medicines and proper care.
Sickness can also be prevented by:
- eating good and balanced food.
- keeping the environment clean.
- drinking clean water.
- maintaining good personal hygiene.
In this lesson, pupils will learn about sickness, its causes, and how it can be treated and prevented for a healthy life.
