CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
Inter-house sports day is a special school event where pupils are divided into different houses (such as Red House, Blue House, Green House, and Yellow House) to compete in sports activities.
During inter-house sports, pupils take part in events such as:
- Filling the basket
- Filling the bottle
- running race
- sack race
- relay race
- high jump
- long jump
It is a day of fun, excitement, and competition where pupils, teachers, and parents come together to watch and support the athletes.
READING PASSAGE: Inter-House Sports Day
Last Friday, our school held its annual inter-house sports competition. The four houses competed in different events such as running race, sack race, relay race, and high jump.
The school field was full of excitement. Pupils, teachers, and parents came to watch the event. The athletes tried their best to win medals for their houses.
At the end of the competition, Green House won the overall trophy. Everyone clapped and cheered for them. The event was fun, exciting, and full of joy.
