2. Teacher uses the sample/chart and the children relevant responses to introduce the lesson and guides the children to identify and write/trace number 1 – 7 correctly.

3. Teacher scatters number 1 – 7, guides and leads the children to write them in order.

4. Teacher displays counting objects and guides the children to identify each of them and write their number.

6. Teacher summarizes the lesson by asking the children questions based on the lesson taught and gives the children work to do at home.
