By the end of the lesson, the pupils should have attained the following objectives (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and should be able to:
Draw a map of Nigeria.
Identify different vegetation zones in Nigeria.
The pupils are required to already have learned
climate and change in climate.
The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of of map of Nigeria and course books.
METHOD OF TEACHING – Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON VEGETATION ZONES IN NIGERIA
The major vegetation zones are:

previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions; Lists and guides the pupils to discuss the vegetation zones in Nigeria.
Pupil’s Activities – Identify and discus the vegetation zones in Nigeria.
Guides pupils to draw map of Nigeria and locate different vegetation zones in Nigeria.
Pupil’s Activities – Draw and locate vegetation zones on map of Nigeria.
Guides and supervises the pupil’s activities.
To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson – distribution of crops.
