CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
Rain falls from the sky. The rain that falls to the ground flows into rivers, lakes, and oceans and goes back to the sky. How? Let’s find out.
THE PROCESS OF DRYING UP WATER
When rain falls on the ground and the sun shines on it, the water dries up.
The sun warms up water and change a gas called water vapor. Can you see a gas?
Liquid water changes into water vapor and disappears into the air.
Heat and air make the water to dry so fast.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WATER DRIES UP?
Water on the ground dries up and goes into the air, becomes part of a cloud, and comes back down to Earth as rain.
This process is called water cycle.
WHAT IS WATER CYCLE?
Water Cycle is the way water moves around the earth.
The Earth is our home. It is big, round ball covered in land, water, and air.
LESSON PRESENTATION
To deliver this lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

2. Teacher plays a short video of rainfall and asks the children to describe the contents of the video.
Children’s Activities – The children watch the video carefully, identify and describe rainfall as the water from the sky.
3. Teacher leads and guides the children to understand the concept of rainfall, tell them that the rain that falls to the ground flows into rivers, lakes, and oceans and goes back to the sky. How? Let’s find out.
Children’s Activities – The children watch the video carefully, identify and describe rainfall as the water from the sky.
4. Teacher asks a question – How? Let’s find out.
5. Teacher uses the short video and the children’s relevant responses and curiosity to introduce the lesson and explain the process of drying up water.
Children’s Activities – The children pay attention to the lesson introduction, understand the process of drying up water.
6. Teacher asks the children question and guides them to respond correctly, what happens when the water dried up?
Children’s Activities – The children say the water goes to the sky and fall as rain.
7. Teacher appreciates the children responses, link their answer to water cycle.
8. Tecaher uses chart showing water cycle to explain and illustrate the process of drying up water and what happens when the water dries up.
Children’s Activities – The children pay attention, listen attentively, understand and appreciate the journey of water around the earth.
9. Teacher summarizes the lesson by asking the children questions based on the lesson taught and gives the children work to do at home.
Children’s Activities – The children participate actively in the summary of the lesson by responding to the questions and do their homework at home.
