ENTRY BEHAVIOUR
Pupils have previously learned how to write short compositions about family members and people they know, using simple and correct sentences.
This lesson builds on that knowledge by helping pupils to describe their grandma in a well-arranged composition, using correct sentence structure and clear ideas.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
A composition is a group of sentences written in correct order to describe a person, place, or thing.
In this lesson, pupils will learn how to write a simple composition about their grandma, describing her appearance, character, and what she does at home.
A grandma is the mother of one’s father or mother. She is usually kind, loving, and caring.
WRITING COMPOSITION ABOUT MY GRANDMA 1
My grandma is a kind and loving woman. She is old but strong and healthy. She lives with us in our family house.
She always tells us interesting stories and advises us to behave well. My grandma is very caring and friendly. She helps my mother at home and looks after us when our parents are busy.
I love my grandma very much because she teaches me good manners and always prays for our family.
