CONTENT OF THE LESSON
INTRODUCTION
Everyday, people move from one place to another. Sometimes, they need help to find their way. This help is called direction.
Direction is the instruction given to show someone how to get to a particular place or location.
When giving directions, we use special words called direction words. These words help people understand where to go.

When giving directions, we use words such as:
- Left
- Right
- Straight ahead
- Opposite
- Beside
- Behind
- In front of
- Near
- Between
How to Give Directions
- Go straight ahead and turn left at the junction.
- The hospital is opposite the market.
- The bank is beside the post office.
- Turn right after the school gate.
- The library is behind the classroom block.
Pupils should learn how to give clear and correct directions using appropriate direction words.
