CONTENT OF THE LESSON  

LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES 

Teacher’s Activities – Display charts showing common animals like dog, lion, etc. for the pupils to demonstrate the behaviour of these animals.

Pupil’s Activities – Participate actively in the activities.

Teacher’s remark – Behaviour of animals is everything that animals can do. For active participation, give a great cheer.

BEHAVIOUR OF ANIMALS

 

 

Animal behaviours are everything animals that can do.

It is animals action and reaction to its owner, food, strangers, other animals, etc.

 

BENEFITS OF COMMON ANIMALS

For example – chicken, rabbits, goats, cow, etc.

LESSON 2 – REVISION AND WEEK LESSON ASSESSMENT 

As stated in performance objectives or lesson evaluation. 

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Initiates and guides class discussion on the behaviour of animals. e.g. movement, feeding, etc.

Pupil’s Activities – Participate in class discussion on animals. Mimic the sound of some animals.

6. Demonstrate crossing and walking along the road.

7. Summarizes the lesson on the board.

Pupil’s Activities – Copy as the teacher write s.

 

CONCLUSION

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
