1. explain the meaning of postural defects.

2. describe postural defects like kyphosis, valgus knee, varus knee, lordosis and scoliosis.

LESSON 1 – MEANING/DEFINITION OF POSTURAL DEFECTS

Posture can be defined as the abnormal position in which someone holds their body when standing or sitting.

 

KINDS OF POSTURAL DEFECTS

1. Kyphosis

2. Valgus knee

 

 

3. Varus knee

4. Lordosis and

5 Scoliosis

 

LESSON 2 – DEMONSTRATION OF POSTURAL DEFECTS

 

LESSON 3 – SUMMARY 

Teacher’s/Student’s Activities – Writes notes on the board for the students copy the board summary into their notebooks.

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the students some questions; then, the teacher –

2. Explains and list postural defect.

Student’s Activities – List postural defects.

5. Summarizes the lesson on the board.

Student’s Activities – Copy as the teacher writes.

 

CONCLUSION

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
