PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES 

By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils should have attained the following objectives –

1. recite the Surah correctly.

2. mention the difficult words and repeat their pronunciation correctly.

3. commit the Surah to memory.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

The teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of Chart containing different alphabets with vowel sounds.

 

METHOD OF TEACHING

Choose a suitable and appropriate methods for the lessons.

Note – Irrespective of choosing methods of teaching, always introduce an activities that will arouse pupil’s interest or lead them to the lessons.

CONTENT OF THE LESSON  

LESSON 1 – ARABIC TEXT OF SURATUL – KAUTHAR 

 

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

 إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ

 

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ

 

 إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ

 

LESSON 2 – REPEAT THE LESSON 1 

 

PRESENTATION

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson. Based on this, he/she asks the pupils some questions;

2. Writes the Arabic text of the Surah on the cardboard and fix it on the board.

3. Recites the Surah slowly.

Pupil’s Activities – Listen attentively to the teacher’s recitation.

  • Repeat the Surah after the teacher.
  • Recite the Surah in group and individually.

4. Listens to pupils’ recitation and identifies the mispronounced words.

5. Repeats the mispronounced words many times.

Pupil’s Activities – Repeat the mispronounced words after the teacher.

 

  • Recite the Surah off head.

 

CONCLUSION

To conclude the lesson for the week, the teacher revises the entire lesson and links it to the following week’s lesson.
