CONTENT OF THE LESSON

INTRODUCTION

In our daily lives, we often compare people and objects to show how they are alike. One way of doing this is by using the expression “same as.”

The expression “same as” is used to show that two or more people, animals, or objects are equal or alike in a particular way.

Examples:

  • Mary is the same age as Amina.
  • John is the same height as David.
  • My bag is the same colour as yours.
  • This ruler is the same length as that ruler.

We use same as to show that two or more people, animals, or objects are alike in a particular way. That’s, they are similarities and not differences.
