2. Indigenous – Belonging naturally to a place; native.

3. Disc – A flat, round object or shape.

4. Virus – A tiny organism that causes diseases in living things.

5. Proclaim – To announce something publicly and officially.

6. Antic – Funny or playful behaviour meant to entertain others.

7. Hilarious – Extremely funny.

8. Fantasy – Imagination or a made-up story that is not real.

9. Bare – Not covered; empty or plain.

10. Magnanimous – Very kind and generous, especially to enemies or weaker people.

MAKING SENTENCES WITH EACH WORD

To deliver the lesson, the teacher adopts the following steps:

1. To introduce the lesson, the teacher revises the previous lesson by asking pupils questions on words and meanings they have learned earlier.

Pupils’ Activities: The pupils respond to the teacher’s questions and mention meanings of familiar words.

2. The teacher organizes the pupils into groups or pairs depending on the size of the class.

Pupils’ Activities: Each pupil belongs to a group.

3. The teacher writes the selected words on the board and pronounces them correctly for the pupils to repeat.

Pupils’ Activities: The pupils listen attentively and repeat the words after the teacher.

4. The teacher uses the words on the board to explain their meanings clearly with examples.
